Friday Fellows


Are you interested in service and leadership?  Become a
Friday Fellow at UALR!

Program Components:

First Year

  • Leadership/service course each semester with service learning component

Second Year

  • Leadership/service course each semester with service learning component

Additional Opportunities

  • In some cases, selected students will be provided an opportunity for a third year in the program, which is an intensive, 20-hour per week experience.  A separate application and proposal is required.

Benefits each year:

  • Stipend

    In addition:

    • A travel stipend may be available for students interested in domestic or abroad travel after they have completed the first two years of the program.

    Students will be required to keep a 3.25 GPA in order to remain in the program.  Application to the program begins in the spring semester.  For more information, please contact Betsy Hart at 569-3424 or edhart@ualr.edu.
