UALR’s First-Year Experience (FYE) course gives new students the tools to succeed in college and teaches them the value of service with a 15-hour service requirement. The Office of Community Engagement helps FYE and other students find service opportunities by publishing a directory of placements and hosting an annual Service Fair.
