Setting Up Eudora in Mac OS 9

1. Open Eudora 5.0
2. Click the Special menu and select Settings...
   
3. Select Getting Started from the list on the left. Enter the following:
   User Name - your email username, Mail server - imap.ualr.edu, Real Name - your name, SMTP Server - smtp.ualr.edu
   
4. Select Checking Mail from the list on the left. Enter the following:
   User Name - your email username, Mail Host - imap.ualr.edu, Server Configuration - IMAP, Save password - your preference, Connection and Download areas - use the recommended settings shown below
   
5. Click on Sending Mail. Enter the following:
   SMTP Server - smtp.ualr.edu, Connection and Message areas - use the recommended settings shown below
