Campus Energy Conservation Project
Beginning Monday, April 7, you’ll find temporary fencing and signage on the south end of campus associated with the campus energy conservation project that requires trenching and construction. Classes and normal business will not be disrupted.
These map areas on the south end of campus will be impacted during this phase of the project:
- Ross Hall, Dickinson Hall, Larson Hall, Education, and Nursing buildings. The steam will be turned off in these buildings through the end of September. There will be no heat in the buildings, and the buildings listed may experience cooler than normal space temperatures throughout this timeframe.
- A portion of Parking Lot 9 will be fenced off for trenching, causing a displacement of some parking spaces. Additional parking will be available in Lot 12, and free parking in the deck will be available.
- South of Trojan Grill, 32nd Street will be shut down only half at a time to allow for traffic to continue to flow through.
