Coleman Sports and Recreation Complex
The Coleman Sports and Recreation Complex is an NCAA-approved facility with stadium lights, a scoreboard, and a press box with internet capability that will house the UALR media and sports information work areas. A grandstand, with a press box atop, provides seating for 300 people, with room for additional seating being left on both sides of the grandstand. A parking lot with more than 130 spaces sits behind the grandstand.
The new complex features a soccer field and eight-lane track with state-of-the-art Polytan synthetic surfacing, two intramural fields that can be set up for softball, and sites for long jump, high jump, pole vault, shot put, discus and hammer, and javelin competitions.
