Energy Efficiency Improvements
A three-part project is underway to improve energy efficiency on campus. This project consists of an expansion of its existing District Cooling System, a campus-wide lighting retrofit, and a controls retrofit to air handling equipment in the Center for Performing Arts.

Project Funding
This $1.9 million project is funded by a no interest loan by the State’s Sustainable Building Design Revolving Loan Fund. These funds will be repaid back to the state fund from the energy savings associated with this project. The estimated simple payback for this project is 9 years.
