Faculty members from the Department of Construction Management are teaching Chinese students about construction and American culture in China this summer. Department Chairperson and Professor Mike Tramel, Professor Jim Carr, Associate Professor Haiyan Xie, and Visiting Assistant Professor Wei Shi will spend six weeks in the city of Xi’an, one of the capital cities of ancient China. Xi’an was a terminus of the famous Silk Road, and is the home of many ancient architectural wonders.
