Alumna named ‘Employee of the Year’ at engineering firm

UALR alumna Jessi Jeffries was recently designated the 2014 Employee of the Year at TME, a full-service engineering firm focused on the healthcare, higher education, and commercial sectors.

The company is headquartered in Little Rock and has offices across the U.S.

Jessi-Jeffries-The award has been given annually since 1997 and honors individuals who have gone above and beyond in their daily jobs and proven themselves to be exceptional members of the TME team.

Jeffries, a graduate of the construction management program in the UALR College of Engineering and Information Technology, has been with TME since 2009. During that time, she has served as a construction administrator and retro-commissioning agent and energy analyst.

She designed and maintained TME’s company-wide project, financial reports, and other project information and has played a vital role in the development and implementation of the company’s utility-rate advocacy program.

This past year, Jeffries also earned her Certified Energy Manager certification from the Association of Energy Engineers. She currently leads the team for TME’s Utility Solutions services, including measurement and verification, supply-side audits and utility rate advocacy.

“Jessi’s willingness to approach any challenge with excitement and determination has been an encouragement to the people around her and has yielded incredible results for our clients,” said Ed Tinsley, president of TME Solutions. “I am proud to have Jessi as a member of the team.”

“Jessi’s work ethic clearly exemplifies the spirit in which this award was created. Her dedication and desire to complete any task assigned to her and her drive to truly be the client’s advocate has been demonstrated time and again throughout her tenure at TME,” said CEO Rusty Mullen.

“It is truly an honor to work with her.”
