UALR Counseling Services in collaboration with a variety of campus departments hosts Suicide Prevention Week in September, during National Suicide Prevention Week. Our goal is to honor our students, suicide survivors, and loved ones affected by suicide as well as break the stigma of reaching out for help. Suicide is not one person’s problem, it is our community’s problem. We can stop suicide, but only together. Suicide Prevention Week is a celebration of the support our campus offers to and from students, faculty, and staff. We all care.
