Candace Greenlee
Candace Greenlee is project coordinator for the Arkansas Delta Research Project with the UALR Senior Justice Center, as part of an Administration on Aging contract with the Arkansas Senior Medicare Fraud Patrol and Tri-County Rural Health Network. Ms. Greenlee has been grateful for the opportunity to help improve the lives of seniors through her institutional and academic work. Ms. Greenlee graduated the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, and minored in Sociology. Ms. Greenlee was part of the Chancellor’s Leadership Corps Program (CLC) at UALR, and also worked with the Office of Financial Aid as a part of a CLC Ambassadorship during her time as an undergraduate. As an undergraduate, she interned with Dr. Montague at the inception of the Senior Justice Center in 2005 and has continued to be involved with its operation and growth over the years. While interning for the Senior Justice Center, Ms. Greenlee became a member of the State of Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services, Adult Protective Services Task Force, where she assisted educators, public officials, and community leaders with policy recommendations and state initiatives regarding senior care issues in the state. After graduating, Ms. Greenlee went to work for the Arkansas Department of Human Services, working in County Legal Operations in the Office of Chief Counsel. Her experiences with child welfare legal operations and adult protective services motivated her to return to UALR to finish her Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and her expected graduation date is May of 2010. After being in the UALR Criminal Justice program for seven years, she continues to grow and make every effort to research areas which contribute to her understanding to help vulnerable populations, especially seniors. Ms. Greenlee resides in Little Rock, Arkansas with her husband.
