Lester E. Hosto Scholarship

Family and friends of Lester E. Hosto established this award for a senior or graduate student to honor a man whose unwavering commitment to his profession, civic pride, and love for his family and friends exemplified the best of the human spirit. Mr. Hosto served as director of the Arkansas State Boards of pharmacy and was one of the most influential leaders in national organized pharmacy. He was recognized for his profession and service to the community in 1994 with the UALR Distinguished Alumnus Award.
