Computing Services Desktop Support Team

The Desktop Support Team is committed to servicing the UALR Faculty and Staff with computer workstation support. As the first point of contact for our department, the goals of the UALR HelpDesk are as follows:

  • Solve problems at the first point of contact whenever possible.
  • Refer problems to the appropriate staff promptly.
  • Follow-up and track problems that are unresolved.
  • Escalate unresolved problems.
  • Track problems and isolate trends.

When contacting us be ready to supply the following information:

  • Your UALR ID - Trojan Number. 
  • Your name.
  • Your department, building and room number.
  • A phone number where you can be reached within the next 4 hours
  • Any alternative phone numbers.
  • The location of your computer.
  • A brief description of the problem, if possible any error messages you encounter.
