This week, we in the CSSC are featuring one of our amazing staff Toni Johnson-Brown. Toni received her BA from UA Little Rock in Psychology in 1999 and has been working as an Administrative Specialist for the Department of Criminal Justice for 25 years! Toni’s job is to assist and support students and faculty in the department.
When Toni gets to work every morning, she likes to make a to-do list to prioritize her tasks for the day and help her stay organized. She loves seeing new faces every day while helping student and loves talking with students about their dreams and future career goals. She is thankful for the opportunity to have received her education in this college while working and she hopes to continue seeking after higher education in the future.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, shopping and taking trips with her long time friends. She fondly recalls when the department was staffed with only 8 employees. She stated that they were a tight knit group and would often times celebrate and fellowship together. One day, she hopes to become a counselor so she can further her reach by helping those in the community. Toni is a great example of our dedicated staff who #dreambig.
