Service to University Community

  • Associate Dean of Students instructed Student Services Success Initiative PEAW course and leadership course targeted for minority men
  • Presented campus civility presentation to students residing within the university housing community
  • Provided housing resident assistants training on community standards, student code of conduct, and judicial processes
  • Provided training to all judicial hearing board members to ensure reasonable and fair proceedings
  • Assisted with the coordination and participation of Suicide Prevention Week 2014
  • Presented education and provided information to students regarding sexual assault and Title IX during the Welcome Week 2014 event Trojan Daze
  • Participated in Chancellor’s Leadership Corps Survival Skills Workshop; presented information and alternatives to alcohol, drugs and partying
  • Successfully coordinated the Graduation and Retention Advocate Awards (GRAD) reception, which  highlighted faculty and staff that were recognized by graduating students
  • Partnered with Student Government Association (SGA) and Ottenheimer Library Staff to coordinate the Late Night Study Break for fall and spring semesters; students took advantage of the late night study hours, and refreshments were provided
  • Continued partnership with Bowen School of Law administration to deal with common and complex student issues
