UALR uses social media to communicate official information about the university, while also utilizing it to create and share information, ideas, and content with key audiences – potential and current students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community.

We advise you to consult with our office before creating an online presence for a UALR department, office, organization, etc. If you are interested in creating a UALR-affiliated social media account, please fill out the request form.

We can create a strategy and share some best practices in order to achieve your goals. If applicable, we can advise and/or develop a digital marketing plan that can include Facebook ads and promoted posts.

Guidelines

As members of the campus community, you are encouraged to adhere to UALR’s branding standards as well as the social media code of conduct for both personal and professional use. The suggestions and best practices can help you use social media effectively, protect your personal and professional reputation, and follow the university guidelines.
