Donaghey Scholars Program Silver Jubilee to be Featured in Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

Friends of the Donaghey Scholars Program should make sure to check out the local paper this weekend! The Donaghey Scholars Program Silver Jubilee will be featured in the High Profile section of this Sunday’s Arkansas Democrat Gazette.

The event brought 170 friends, alumni, and current students of the program together for  dinner at the Jack Stephens Center on the UALR campus last Saturday night. The evening celebrated the 25th graduating class of the program, as well as 25 years of generous support from the Donaghey  Foundation.

The Silver Jubilee also honored retiring Program Director C. Earl Ramsey, who has led the program for 24 years. Proceeds from the event will go towards the establishment of the C. Earl Ramsey Distinguished Lecture Series. Donations for this fund will be accepted by the Office of Development through the end of the year. Ramsey will retire January 1, 2014.
