Scholar Harrison Hayworth Competes in ASCE Concrete Canoe Competition

IMG_3722Second Year Scholar Harrison Hayworth was one of ten UA Little Rock students to compete in the concrete canoe challenge at the American Society of Civil Engineers Deep South Student Conference in Memphis, Tennessee this month. Harrison, a civil and construction engineering major, was part of the first group to ever represent the university in this competition and while they did not win, their canoe did not sink, a real achievement for the team.  In addition to being a Donaghey Scholar and an engineering major, Harrison is also a soccer player for UA Little Rock and has previously been named the Sun Belt Player of the Week.
