Geology Club

The UA Little Rock Geology Club is a student organization that hosts a wide variety of events, conducts local field trips, participates in community service activities, and generally seeks to increase awareness of and interest in Earth Sciences. To become a member, please bring $20 to the Department of Earth Sciences main office in Fribourgh Hall Room 307. This covers the cost of a lifetime membership, a UA Little Rock Geology Club T-shirt, and discounted (or often FREE!) admission to many Geology Club events!

Rock Kits

Each semester, the UA Little Rock Geology Club assembles and sells rock kits as a study aid for students enrolled in introductory Earth Sciences course. To purchase a rock kit, please visit the Department of Earth Sciences main office in Fribourgh Hall Room 307. The cost is $20 per kit. After use, rock kits can be returned for a $10 refund. EARTHtalk!

EARTHtalkThe EARTHtalk! Lecture Series is a public lecture series sponsored by the UA Little Rock Department of Earth Sciences and the UA Little Rock Geology Club. The Geology Club provides refreshments before the talks, and often has items for sale before and after the talk.
