2012 Fall Doctoral Qualifying Exams are scheduled for Saturday afternoon, September 15, and Friday-Saturday, September 21-22.

2012 Orientation Meeting for the Fall Doctoral Qualifying Examinations will be held on Friday, June 22 from 3-5pm in Dickinson Hall, Room 408.

Doctoral students will need to submit both the Application for Qualifying Examination and Appointment of Supervisory or Examining Committee forms for review and approval to sit for Qualifying Exams in the Fall.

Ed.D. students who intend to enroll in HIED 8399: Dissertation Seminar in the Fall should have their chair’s approval of a dissertation prospectus before permission will be given to enroll in the course. Deadline for an approved prospectus is June 22.  Please submit the prospectus to your chair before the deadline to ensure meeting the approval deadline of June 22.

2012 Orientation Meeting for the Fall Masters Comprehensive Exams option will be held on Friday, June 22 from 1:30-2:30 PM in Dickinson Hall, Room 408.

For those thinking about completing the Masters Comprehensive Exams option in the Fall, or if you’d like to gain insights into the process for a future exams, reply to Dr. Vander Putten jvputten@ualr.edu by June 1st to attend this meeting.

In order to take the Masters Comprehensive Exams in the Fall, you will need to submit both the Application for Comprehensive Examination and Appointment of Supervisory or Examining Committee forms for review and approval.

Spring, 2012 HIED written qualifying exams will be held on Saturday, February 11 from 1-5pm, Friday, February 17 from 1-5pm, and Saturday, February 18 during 9am-12noon and 1-4pm, location TBA.

The orientation meeting for the Spring, 2012 HIED Qualifying Examinations will be held on Friday, December 2 from 3-5 in DH 408.
