Educational Administration and Supervision (EDAS)
The degrees in the Educational Administration and Supervision programs are accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Through the process of professional accreditation, NCATE works to ensure program and instructional quality at the undergraduate and graduate level for professional educators and administrators.
NCATE’s Specialty Areas Studies Board approved national standards developed by professional associations that are constituent members of NCATE. The Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC) is the Specialized Professional Association (SPA) approved by NCATE for the review of leadership programs preparing administrators at the P-12 building and district level.
