Amanda Nolen became a member of the Department of Teacher Education faculty as an Assistant Professor at UALR in January 2005. Dr. Nolen teaches a variety of Educational Psychology courses including Learning Theories, Human Development, Educational Assessment, Qualitative Research Methods, Introduction to Research Methods, Statistics, and Advanced Educational Psychology.
Dr. Nolen serves as a Commissioner on the Governor’s Commission to Close the Achievement Gap in Arkansas. She also serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Educational Research. Finally, she is a member of the American Educational Research Association and the American Psychological Association, Division 15.
