Mark Fincher joined the UALR Higher Education faculty in January of 2008. He teaches in the areas of strategy two-year college leadership. His research interests center in strategy, economic development through higher education, and the education of working adult students.
Mark’s professional background includes being an entrepreneur, a researcher and professor of business administration, the chief executive of a university satellite campus, and most recently an executive dean position at Cedar Valley College in Lancaster, Texas.
Mark’s research record includes publications in Academic Leadership, Competitiveness Review, The Journal of Continuing Higher Education, Higher Education Policy, Journal of Research in Education, and The Community College Journal of Research and Practice.
