About the School of Education

A degree from the UA Little Rock School of Education opens doors to a range of careers. Our graduates become classroom teachers at the elementary, middle or high school level. They work as specialists in reading, gifted education, special education and learning systems technology.  They serve schools, non-profit organizations, community programs and more places that inspire and encourage young people.

We provide a culturally responsive approach to preparing our students to serve diverse populations. We also provide pre-service engagement that makes our graduates day-one ready. Choose from among our bachelor’s degree programs, graduate certificates, master’s degree programs, or doctorate in reading education. Learn more about our education programs and certificates.
