NIC, Inc’s Little Rock based subsidiary (INA) is a small, talented team of programmers, artists and project managers who manage the award winning Arkansas.gov state portal and develop eGovernment web and mobile applications for the state of Arkansas.

Job Description

Do you:

  • Stay up at night designing websites for fun or reading technology and web design blogs?
  • Tinker with every new technology that comes out?
  • Want to work on highly visible websites and mobile applications they’ll be talking about in the news tomorrow?

If you answered “Yes” to these questions, then this internship is for you.  NIC, Inc. is seeking a driven individual who is pursuing a degree in a design or technology related field to assist their expert team of designers and developers in producing state of the art eGovernment solutions.

Qualifications

Be proficient in: principles of good interface design, Photoshop, HTML, CSS, Web Standards

Be familiar with: Javascript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Responsive Design, ExpressionEngine

Communicate well with peers and able to manage multiple projects at once

Thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
