Let the EIT Dean’s office help you find a job! Work experience that is relevant to your career goals is a good thing in many ways. It helps you:
- Build professional relationships
- Gain experience that will help you sharpen your focus on what you really want to do
- Make money, which can really be helpful when you want to buy something.
And all that – or at least the first two – helps increase your chances for getting a great job after you graduate.
Positioning yourself to get a good job is easy.
First, submit your resume.
Don’t have a resume or think yours is not so hot? We’ve posted a high-quality resume for you to review , and also included some general resume tips.
As we learn about job opportunities we’ll post them here, so check back often. Each listing will include all we know: job description, hours, pay scale and the potential length of employment (summer-only internship vs. chance to work during the school year)
To subscribe to updates via email just fill out the form below:
If there is a job you want to apply for, click the “apply here” link within each job listing. That will generate an e-mail to me, and I’ll send along your resume.
I will update you as the selection process begins, and we’ll mark jobs “closed” when resumes are no longer being accepted and “filled” after the hire has been made.
Outside the parameters of this process, feel free to contact me with questions or advice. I’m easy to find at wkbass@ualr.edu or at 501-682-8137 (office) and 501-258-5355 (mobile)
