Requirements

Requirements for Admission

  • Five years or more of management or professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.7 or higher, or a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the last 60 hours
  • Employer’s permission to participate and attend all classes (evidenced by an appropriate signature on the Sponsor’s Agreement Form)
  • Candidates must complete the UALR Executive MBA Program Admission Application and submit supporting documents (application and instructions are available from the Executive MBA office)
  • A personal interview with the Admissions Committee is also required

Computer Requirements

Students in the Executive MBA program are required to have a laptop computer and Internet access. The courses require Microsoft Office XP (or most current version) for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. Elementary knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is expected. Although you will gain knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint over the course of the program, prior experience with this software is helpful. Remedial tutorials are available if needed. You will also need either an Ethernet 10/100BASE-T card or connectors compatible with the local area network or a wireless network card (please contact us for wireless requirements).
