Deans’ Welcome
Success in today’s global business environment requires leaders who are flexible and responsive to change. Leaders must be able to solve complex problems that simultaneously involve technology, human resources, strategic, financial and marketing issues.
The UALR Executive MBA program is an intense, fast paced, hands-on program focused on assisting experienced managers gain the skills they need, all in a time frame that is right for you. This program is an alternate weekend program that may be completed in eighteen months without interrupting your career.
During the initial months, the courses are focused on helping you master the knowledge and tools that every business executive needs to make decisions. Later courses are focused on application. Faculty provide you the opportunity to apply your knowledge in real world consulting projects. To complete the program, you work on an integrative capstone project to gain a sense of how organizations analyze, plan and implement strategically, blending functional areas into an integrated whole. You will formulate a unified strategic plan that is effective across the organization, directed at achieving competitive advantage. In addition, throughout the eighteen-month program there is a professional development seminar which focuses on further developing your team building, leadership, ethical, and entrepreneurial skills.
You will belong to an elite network of influential executives who will become lifelong friends, dedicated to consulting regularly with each other, making referrals, and exploring business opportunities. You will gain confidence from learning from experts in different fields, contributing your strengths and expertise to group projects and ultimately developing lasting friendships as a result of these shared experiences.
We invite you to learn about our program by personally visiting us here at the state-of-the-art Donald W. Reynolds Center for Business and Economic Development.
We welcome your participation, and would like to set up a meeting for you to talk with our alumni, current students, faculty, and staff, who can discuss how the UALR Executive MBA program changed their lives both professionally and personally. We encourage you to consider this elite program.
