Arkansas Blackboard Users Conference 2007

Dr. Mark Workman, Dean of UALR’s Extended Programs, is proud to announce the second annual Arkansas Blackboard Users Conference to be held Thursday, March 22 and Friday, March 23 in the Donaghey Student Center. The conference is free to online instructors, course designers, and system administrators. Seating is limited. Registration deadline is Monday, March 12. For more information or to register go to: http://www.ualr.edu/abuc/.

Karen Gage, this year’s keynote speaker, serves as the director of the next phase of e-Learning and vice president of Blackboard Beyond Initiative. With over a decade of WebCT experience, she oversees new Web properties that enhance connectivity for institutions, faculty, and students who use Blackboard for online learning.

The Arkansas Blackboard Users Conference is an exciting conference for Arkansas educators. The purpose of the conference is to gather and discuss delivery methods for online instruction. Educators, course designers and system administrators from all over Arkansas will be here to share their knowledge of Blackboard and WebCT. You’ll have the opportunity to network, visit exhibitors, attend presentations, receive hands-on experience facilitated by experts, and share tips and ideas with colleagues.

The conference is sponsored by Blackboard, Horizon Wimba, Presidium Learning, Apple, Tegrity and UALR Extended Programs.
