Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts
College/Department
College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences
Department of Philosophy and Liberal Studies

Description
The Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts program is an interdisciplinary degree that is perfect for students with a wide range of interests. It works well for students who have already taken a wide variety of junior and senior level courses but not selected a major. Working with an online advisor, each student develops an individualized program of study. Students study in three emphasis areas (two of which must be within the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences) and take a minimum of 6 courses in each selected emphasis area. Many subjects within the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences now have online options, but students may also choose one emphasis area outside of the college. Possible outside emphasis options include subjects in Business, Professional Studies, and Sciences. Additional online emphasis areas are being developed, and new courses are being added each semester.
