Graduate certificate programs, which generally require around one-half as many hours as a master’s degree, are one of the fastest growing components of graduate education.
Aimed at professionals and pre-professionals who wish to supplement previous education, these programs have been created with the need for a flexible schedule in mind by providing access to higher education for individuals who have obligations that prevent attendance to campus-oriented coursework but who are available during the weekends or at other non-traditional hours.
