Knowledge Media Laboratory (Carnegie Foundation),
http://www.carnegiefoundation.org/KML/, is developing a series of online workspaces and resources that support the efforts of teachers who are documenting their practice. In some ways this work fulfills the functions of the library, laboratory and museum that have traditionally supported scholarship. Click on the "View Gallery" button for a fascinating tour.

Virtual Resource Site for Teaching and Learning,
http://www.umuc.edu/virtualteaching/vt_home.html, is a resource for faculty seeking direction in appropriate ways to use Web-based technologies to accomplish key learning strategies. The guiding principle of this project is to go beyond technical skill towards a full examination of the teaching/learning issues in technology-enabled instruction.

HorizonLive Desktop Lecture Series: Live Events, http://www.horizonlive.com/lecture/, brings a wide range of experts from a variety of disciplines to your desktop. Each event is delivered live and allows for direct interaction with the guest speaker. Most events are free.

Learning through Technology,
http://www.wcer.wisc.edu/cl1/ilt/, consists of resources for college instructors seeking answers to questions about why and how they might use learning technologies to improve what and how well students learn.

Catalyst
The University of Washington claims that "Catalyst brings you tools, resources, and support to help you teach with new technologies." And they ain't lying! This great site has really useful information for the novice, intermediate, and would-be online educator. Use the site map to get around. Their "How To" section provides step-by-step instructions for getting started with some popular software products (PowerPoint, Dreamweaver, Word).
