Professor of Information Science

Ningning WuDr. Ningning Wu is a professor in the Department of Information Science. She is known for her highly interactive teaching style whose approach focuses on creating student’s independent learning skills and encourages lifelong learning. Dr. Wu teaches the main courses of the Information Science program, which includes Data Technologies, Database Concepts, Applied Networking, and Database Security. Past students have commended her knowledge on the field of databases and have rated her courses highly. Students have also commented on Dr. Wu’s ability to encourage students in her classroom and her willingness to mentor students both inside and outside of the classroom. Several students have even said they wanted to take every class Dr. Wu teaches at the university.

Dr. Ningning Wu has a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Ph.D. in Information Technology from George Mason University.
