Sharon Ann Richardson

Changing students’ lives

When a group of African-American male teachers at Jacksonville Middle School needed assistance with their classrooms, they needed someone experienced and enthusiastic about helping students achieve their maximum potential. They found that person in Dr. Sharon Ann Richardson, and the group developed a mentorship program for young teachers and their students in the all-boys school. At each stage of this multi-level program, those with more experience at learning and life serve as positive examples for individuals who need positive reinforcement.
