Financial Aid

Graduate Aid

President Obama recently signed into law the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, which provides for changes in educational borrowing for students and parents. The Federal Family Education Loan Program, which UALR and other schools participated in for many years, will be replaced by the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program. Under the Direct Loan Program, students and parents borrow federal loans directly from the U.S. Department of Education, not from banks and other lenders. Beginning with the 2010 summer session, UALR will be processing all federal student loans through the Direct Loan Program.

UALR is committed to providing our students and their families with the highest level of service, and we aim to make this transition as seamless as possible. The Office of Financial Aid is available to assist with any questions or concerns you might have. Please do not hesitate to call us at 501-569-3035 or email
