Federal Financial Aid – FAFSA

Completing the FAFSA

Federal student aid is the single largest source of assistance for college students. There’s just a single application – the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The FAFSA must be completed annually, and the new application for the upcoming school year is available on Oct. 1.

The school code for the UA Little Rock is 001101. Parent information is required for dependent students.

You (and your parent, if dependent) will also need a StudentAid.gov account in order to sign your FAFSA electronically.

Once your application has been processed, you will receive an e-mail from the federal processor, and UA Little Rock will receive an electronic version of your FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS). Once we receive your FAFSA data, we will determine if we require additional documentation. You will receive an e-mail from our office directing you to check your BOSS Account for any additional information required.
