Our mission is to provide accurate financial information, assistance and support to our customers, both internal and external, while maintaining a high level of professionalism. In addition, to establish uniform policies and procedures for accountability and control of state-owned and government-owned equipment entrusted to the care of University employees. It is our goal to provide quality support services to our customers in a responsible and accountable manner.

The Accounting Department is divided into several different functions. Following you will find some of the areas that we are responsible for:

  • Providing training on financial software
  • Maintaining security for finance module of Banner
  • Processing transfers and journal vouchers
  • Maintaining our chart of accounts
  • Monitoring back charges
  • Preparing financial reports
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Accountability and control of equipment
