‘Wicked’ to be a witching good time

Has a month of witches left you itching for more? Well, you are in luck, because the hit Broadway musical “Wicked” is coming to Little Rock this November.

Based on the Gregory Maguire book of the same name, “Wicked” follows witches Elphaba and Glinda, who are friends at sorcery school before they become the Wicked Witch of the West and the Good Witch respectively.

The pair has a history long before Dorothy and Toto drop in, and the musical follows the evolution of their relationship.

“Wicked” opened at the Gershwin Theatre on Broadway on Oct. 30. 2003.  It has since toured cities all over the world and continues to be a hit on Broadway.
