Former Arkansas Razorback coach and current Tulsa Shock (Women’s National Basketball Association) head coach Nolan Richardson was seen at the UALR/Louisiana-Lafayette game on Saturday at the Jack Stephens Center.

He was there scouting senior forward Chastity Reed, who is averaging 20.1 points and 6.1 rebounds a game on the year. Reed is on the “Wade Watch” list and Naismith Preseason Watch List for player of the year.

After a 6-28 record in their first season in the WNBA, Tulsa has the second overall pick in this year’s WNBA draft that will be held in April. Originally from Detroit, the Shock’s season starts on June 4.
