Is your “undeclared” status still looming over your head (and transcript)? Have no fear. The Office of Academic Advising is hosting an event to transform that question mark into an exclamation point.

“Explore the Majors” is a program dedicated to helping undeclared freshman determine their academic passion. By receiving the opportunity to survey many academic areas, students will have the chance to interact with members of different departments, discovering what each major has to offer them personally.
“It is our hope that students will explore, discover and commit to a particular major during this event,” said Thea Hoeft Zidonowitz, director of Academic Advising.
If getting on an exciting academic path isn’t enough to sway the freshman, the Office of Academic Advising is also providing free food and beverages.

The event will be held in Ledbetter Hall Rooms A, B and C from 12-2 p.m. Monday, March 7. For more information, contact Stephanie Drombetta at 501-459-8688.
