After a road trip that saw them lose three straight matches, the tennis team didn’t take advantage of their return home and lost to Troy 7-0 on Saturday, April 2, at Rebsamen Tennis Center in Little Rock.

The match got off to a bad start for the Trojans (10-10, 0-2 Sun Belt Conference) with sophomore Veronique Luksich losing her singles match 6-3, 2-6, 10-7.

Sophomore Yana Kakovkina was the next to fall as she lost her singles match 6-3, 6-2.

Senior Rebecca Van Den Houte and Luksich gave the Trojans its sole victory of the day when they won their doubles match 8-7

The team returns to conference action on the road against Louisiana-Monroe on April 6.
