Foul play has not been ruled out in a case involving the disappearance of a local UALR student who was reported missing Wednesday, according to the Little Rock Police Department.

Patricia Guardado, 20, was reported missing by her mother the night of Oct. 12 after she missed classes and did not return home. Her car was found undisturbed in the parking lot behind the Burger King on S. University Avenue, according to local officials.

Guardado’s ex-boyfriend has been fully cooperative and is not a suspect, according to the police.

According to reports, her friends say she was absent from all of her classes and that her phone is turned off.

Guardado is 5’2 and 120 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. Reports state that she was last seen leaving her home at 8:45 A.M. Wednesday wearing a blue and gray shirt, black slacks and black shoes.

The UALR and Little Rock police are working together and ask that anyone with details helpful to the investigation contact them immediately. The Little Rock Police Department can be contacted at 501-371-4660 and the UALR Police Department at 501-569-3400.
