I might have to go and look some of these songs up. Out of the top 10, I think I know 2 of them. I must be getting out of touch!

Saying that, when I’m doing driving lessons, I sometimes get pupils to bring along their own music. That can be a real eye opener. I think I’ve had everything from heavy metal to classical :)

I could make a case for any of the ten to be my favorite song of the year. It depends on what mood I’m in. These are simply the songs I found myself listening to the most and always enjoying each listen. As for Hot Chip, I’ve been listening to them from their first LP and it’s immensely satisfying to see what they’ve become. They make music that’s fun initially and then makes you think. The best kind of music, IMO.
