How Do I Transfer?
It may seem overwhelming to think about changing colleges or universities. It’s easier than you think. Use this checklist as a guide. The links should help you answer your transfer questions.

Note: If you are transferring 12 hours or less, apply as an “Undergraduate Freshman Transfer.”- Submit required documentation
- Final high school transcript and ACT scores (Undergraduate Freshmen Transfer only)
- Transcripts from all postsecondary institutions you have attended (all students)
- Immunization records(all students)
- Meet with an academic advisor

The following links will provide transfer students wishing to eventually complete a four year degree at UALR an advising guide for specific programs of study. The documents are merely guides, and should be used at the discretion of the student. Students should be aware that some programs have additional course requirements that may not be included in these guides. Students using these guides are encouraged to read the Agreement Partnership UALR has with their current institution. As soon as you’re accepted to transfer to UALR, we strongly recommend you meet with an academic advisor in the program you wish to pursue. Transfer students should always refer back to the current UALR Undergraduate catalog for specific graduation requirements or other academic concerns.

Keep in mind that not everyone is eligible to attend. We only accept students who are prepared for the academic challenge of quality courses and exceptional programs of study.
What You Need

You need to make an appointment to meet with your academic advisor after you have been fully admitted to the university. (This means you have an official letter of acceptance from Admissions!) Call Academic Advising at 501.569.3386 to make an appointment.
