Life on Campus
Life on campus can mean something different to each person, and your interests and individual needs should drive your decisions about life on campus.
Whether you want to live on campus or join a service club, or take full advantage of the educational services available, you’ll want to check out all that UALR has to offer.
Living on campus can definitely help you get involved in campus activities, but that isn’t a prerequisite. From Greek life, clubs, activities and athletic events to career and leadership development opportunities and student advocacy groups, UALR has it all.
“I didn’t get involved in campus activities until I was a junior, and looking back, I wish I would have started earlier. I missed out on a lot of fun.”
— Matthew Sharp, 2001 Graduate
If you’re interested in concerts, performing arts, lectures, multi-cultural events or comedians, The University Program Council offers these and more. It’s entertainment of all kinds brought to campus to make your time at UALR all you want it to be. And, it’s free!

Plus, there’s always live bands performing, art gallery shows or special features at the Arkansas Arts Center, the , Robinson Center Music Hall or one of the many museums in town.
And if you like history, Little Rock has more things for you to do than you’ll ever have time for like checking out historic Central High School and exploring how Arkansas’ first settlers tamed the new wilderness, Civil War sites, and the new William J. Clinton Presidential Library. And you can visit Heifer International Center’s green tour and maybe sponsor a goat for a family in need.
