Depression Screening

Knowing that many people experience the first symptoms of depression during their college years, Health Services continues to screen for depression using the PHQ-2 and PHQ-9 methods. The number of positive results from this screening decreased by 1% over last year. While one percent often may seem insignificant, when it relates to a reduction in incidents of depression, it is quite substantial.
