Health Insurance
An optional insurance plan is available for students taking 6 credit hours or more (home-study, correspondence, internet and television courses do not count). The policy provides benefits for injuries and illnesses and may be purchased annually or by the semester. Major medical and family coverage can be purchased separately.
Enrollment information can be found online at www.macori.com. Please note there is an enrollment deadline. Payments must be received within the first 30 days of each semester.
Because this policy does not cover the first visit to a physician, students can save themselves unnecessary expenses by first coming to Health Services for a referral.
There is also an optional dental and discount prescription plan available.
