Guest & Conference Housing

Campus Housing in East Hall and University Commons is available during June and July for groups and individuals participating in summer campus activities. (see links to the left for more information about East Hall and University Commons facilities)

Conference Housing (Groups): Examples of conference groups include sports teams, cheer camps, community organizations, academic department supported enrichment programs, teachers certification participants, and association sponsored groups.

Guest Housing (Individuals): Guest housing is for individual non-UALR college students who are in Little Rock participating in such activities as summer internships, isolated summer coursework, and research.

SERVICES
The reception desk in East Hall is open round the clock to answer questions and take messages. Phone, cable TV hookup, and wireless internet access is provided in every room.  Linens are not included in the rooms, however a limited supply of bed and bath linen sets are available for rental.

PARKING
Guests staying in campus housing will have complimentary access to gated, reserved parking.

DINING 
Sodexo serves the campus dining needs with facilities located in the Donaghey Student Center and University Commons. Options include Taco Bell, Starbucks, Quiznos Subs, and a full range of hot entrees, vegetables and salads. Hours vary depending on class schedules. Sodexo also offers catering services. Conference groups are encouraged to contact dining services directly to arrange for dining needs (501) 569-3360.

DEPOSIT / BILLING

Group Billing
UALR department sponsored groups may remit payment by funds transfer request.
Non-UALR sponsored groups may pay by check , money order or cash.
A deposit of 50% of the estimated contract total is due at least 30 days prior to the arrival of the group. Final payment is due within 30 days of receipt of final bill.

Individual Billing
A deposit of $100 is due with the completed application. Payment of the first week is due on or before check-in. Payment for remaining weeks is due before the beginning of each subsequent week.

COST

Commons Apartments (1 week minimum stay/fee required)
weekly rates per person:

  • $125 - Four bedroom/two bath apartment which can accommodate 4 people.
  • $140 - Two bedroom/one bath apartment which can accommodate 2 people.
  • $15 - Optional bed and bath linen rental is $15 per week.

    • East Hall (no mininmum stay required)
    nightly rates per person:

  • $18 - double occupancy (with a roommate, sharing a bath)
  • $27 - single occupancy (private bedroom, sharing a bath)
