Move-in Day is a really exciting and busy day on campus; so before you head this way, there are a few things you may want to know.
Everyone will be moving in on the same day – Saturday, August 12. Check-in starts at 8 a.m. and will go until 5 p.m. Don’t worry if you can’t make it before 5 p.m. You will still be able to check-in but there won’t be any volunteers to help you move your things.
To try to move things along as quickly as possible and to get you out of the Arkansas heat, we have staggered move-in times by last name.
Last Name and Move-In Times:
- A – L: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- M – Z: 1 – 5 p.m.
Volunteers will be on hand to help you move things to you room. So make sure you label all of your boxes with your name and room number. If you are living in West Hall, make sure you label them with M or G for the appropriate tower.
If you are staying in North or South Halls make sure that you label the building appropriately. We don’t want volunteers to take your stuff to the wrong room on accident.
- West Hall – 1st Floor Lobby
- East Hall – 1st Floor Lobby
- North or South Halls – Commons Great Room (look for the clock tower)
- University Village – Clubhouse
When you arrive, Campus Police will be directing traffic and Campus Living staff members will be on hand to direct you to your check-in location. Here is a Move-in traffic map for your reference and convenience.
