Sustainability Pledge Campaign
I pledge to REDUCE by being more conscious of the water and energy I use in my room. This includes unplugging electronics when not in use, turning off the lights in my room during the day, printing double sided paper, and monitoring my consumption habits.
I pledge to REUSE by using reusable dishes, utensils, and cups, as well as reusable water bottles.
I pledge to RECYCLE my aluminum, plastic, paper, cardboard, and batteries in the appropriate locations within my Hall.
Purpose: The pledge listed above will inspire action to reduce, reuse, and recycle by stimulating a sense of accountability for the residents in our facilities. The “Pledge Wall” is located in the commons building. Residents will be able to sign their name a make the pledge to live a more sustainable life.
