The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Department of Chemistry invites applications for a temporary Visiting Assistant Professor (RT090807) opening in Organic Chemistry/Biochemistry. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Department of Chemistry is dedicated to high quality education at both undergraduate and graduate levels as well as conducting research activities in a number of areas including analytical, organic, materials, and environmental/atmospheric chemistry. We are seeking an individual who will primarily be teaching courses in organic chemistry and biochemistry. Opportunity for research is also possible.
This opening will be filled at the Visiting Assistant Professor level as a 9-month temporary position for Fall of 2009 – Spring 2010 terms. Required qualification is a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry/Biochemistry. Details on the Chemistry Department can be found at http://www.ualr.edu/chemistry/.
The UALR Department of Chemistry offers B.A, B.S, M.A. and M.S. degrees in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry jointly with the Department of Applied Science.
